An Interview With Our New Starters
Existing clients. New clients. The projects at ReMake keep getting bigger and better.
Joining us for the next phase of our evolution are a handful of new starters - each bringing new skills to ensure we continue to deliver a truly world-class service for our clients. ReMake isn’t just a tool but a team of real-life people too, you know.
We took the opportunity to shoot the sh*t with two new UK-based ReMakers - Anthony Rebelo, Business Development Manager at ReMake and Magdeline, Project Manager at ReMake - who are excited to bring their human touch to countless projects over the coming months.
Read our quick-fire conversation with them below.
Hello Anthony and Magdeline! Welcome to the ReMake team. First up, what’s the most exciting thing about working at ReMake?
Anthony: What really excites me is the opportunity to make a genuine difference to and inside other companies. ReMake completely reimagines versioning and workflows - relieving teams of unnecessary stresses and time-consuming, boring tasks. I’ve been lucky enough to witness the difference it’s making to clients already - and I’m excited to multiply that.
Magdeline: It’s got to be scaling content for global markets and audiences - and territories that I’ve not yet been exposed to. I’m excited to help clients unlock ReMake to meet global content demands and deliver game-changing results.
What superpower do you feel you bring to the ReMake team?
Anthony: Resilience.
Magdeline: Level-headedness.
In your opinion, which ReMake feature is the biggest game changer?
Anthony: CSV Upload. It allows users to scale content at record-breaking speed. Limitless versions of creative at the push of a button. It is definitely a game changer.
Magdeline: Do I have to pick? Every ReMake feature is designed to reduce creative turnaround time and allow for endless possibilities. The question is, how far will our clients push it? There’s no limit to the scale ReMake can facilitate.
Talking of pushing boundaries. Which brands do you think are killing it on socials right now?
Anthony: Netflix. I love the community they’ve nurtured. They’re always driving trends - and are on the very pulse of what’s going on. They really do deliver content at the speed of culture.
Magdeline: Topicals. They recently ran a campaign for eye patches with a bunch of the UKs most beloved influencers and it caused a ton of FOMO and buzz. They’re now launching in the UK and I believe will have an overwhelmingly successful launch following all the additional attention. I didn’t know of them before but I’m ready to load up my shopping basket!
Favourite advertising campaign from the last year?
Anthony: I was particularly inspired by Google’s ‘Javier in Frame’ ad for this year’s Super Bowl. It’s extremely moving - and just shows how much of a positive impact technology can have on the world.
Magdeline: The Beyonce Renaissance tour campaign was excellent. Her team's ability to capture fan attention and use the chatter to make each show bigger and better than the last was an excellent feat to witness. Marketers can take a page from her playbook.
Okay. Let’s talk about Artificial Intelligence. What’s one bit of AI you can’t live without - apart from ReMake, of course?
Anthony: Spotify's algorithm playlist. An amazing music discovery tool.
Magdeline: My Garmin smartwatch - I track my whole life with that thing!
And finally, for some fun… favourite song to version creative to?
Anthony: Stavroz - The Finishing
Magdeline: Jorja Smith - The Greatest Gift
